I have a genuine fear of heights. But many times in my life I have proven to myself (always accidentally) that there is no fear I cannot conquer. When the cable car was the most requested activity we do for our first time in Singapore, I immediately agreed because I read in the website that the trip is only 5 minutes.

Silk Air Flight Review: Cebu to Singapore Roundtrip
I was envious of the many people who blogged about paying just P2,000 for a round trip ticket to Singapore. I tried my best to be able to score tickets of that price range but I was not successful. I just decided to splurge a little bit in air fare, and save in some aspects of the travel. Anyway, it was my first international trip, might as well enjoy it to the best I can afford. So, I booked SilkAir, and I was glad I did because SilkAir service was top-notch (at least compared to the several budget planes I flew with in the past).

First Time Traveling to Singapore: Notes and Observations
After our first visit in Singapore, the image that lingers in my mind is the image of a woman, probably middle-aged, riding a bike, in a cosmopolitan, yet green, setting. Far from the tourist-filled parks along Clark Quay and Orchard Road, the fast lanes in the MRT, the magnificent man-made structures that signify the city-state’s modernity, is the heart of Singapore — it’s people.
