About ME

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and is working on obtaining a law degree in the Philippines. I am passionate about writing, creating value for money, efficiency, and organic marketing.

I’m a B2B Digital Marketer with core strengths in writing and editing. I have 18 years experience in the publishing, legal, outsourcing, and marketing industries.

I’m currently working full-time as the marketing team lead of a boutique outsourcing company based in Cebu City, Philippines. As team lead, I focus on executing marketing campaigns that not only use reasonable budget but also bring profit to the clients. Our marketing team focuses on user-friendly website, relevant content, persistent link building, and thoughtful social media posting. We are currently servicing clients in the finance and legal industries in Australia.

Prior to my work in the marketing industry, I was managing editor for a U.S. company that published newsletters on Chapter 11 bankruptcies, troubled companies, and class action litigation. I started as a junior editor assigned to meticulously track, digest, and report on each and every filing in the Chapter 11 cases of Enron, Calpine, WR Grace, Solutia, Anchor Glass, among others. I rose through the ranks and became managing editor where I managed publication of definitive news on the largest Chapter 11 cases, largest asbestos cases, largest class actions, and insolvent companies. At one point, I managed more than 10 writers and contributors, ensuring definitive, timely, and accurate reporting of legal and business news.

My core competencies are: writing and editing, legal research, B2B marketing, communications, project management, and team leadership.

I also work as a freelance writer and editor, working mostly on topics involving the law, legal, business, human resources, and social sciences.

Originally from the beautiful tropical island of Siquijor, I now live with my husband in Cebu City. I love books, archaeology, traveling, thrifting, and vintage hunting.
